How to adopt

Complete the online adoption application with details about your circumstances, experience and preferences. The team reviews the application and discusses suitable dogs with you. If a potential match is identified, you may be invited to visit the Staffordshire rescue centre and meet the dog. Once everyone is happy with the match, an adoption agreement is completed and the team provides advice and ongoing support.

Rehoming enquiries

Owners needing to rehome a Border Collie or collie cross should contact the Trust or complete the online Dog Profile form. Microchip and veterinary details are required. Because demand is high and kennel space is limited, acceptance depends on urgency, available space and the dog’s behavioural and medical needs. If a place is offered, the owner must be able to bring the dog to the Staffordshire centre.
